One More Song
Join us for the 5th Annual One More Song concert benefitting the Music Therapy Department of Blue Ridge Hospice on July 11th at the Barns of Rosehill in Berryville, VA (doors open at 5:00pm, music begins at 6:00pm). This year’s headliner is Bluegrass sensation Town Mountain. 100% of ticket sales and proceeds will go toward supporting this fabulous cause. If you can’t attend in person, make sure to catch the free livestream of the show and please consider donating!
Why support Music Therapy? Music Therapy is a clinical and evidenced-based discipline that utilizes music to accomplish goals that maximize an individual’s quality of life. This is of utmost importance during end of life care, and Blue Ridge Hospice’s music therapy program is an outstanding example of this practice. Full-time, board-certified therapists visit patients where they live and deliver personalized therapy in the form of creating, singing, moving to, or just experiencing music often right at the bedside.
Raw & soulful with plenty of swagger, Town Mountain has earned rave reviews for their hard-driving sound, their in-house songwriting, and the honky-tonk edge that permeates their exhilarating live performances, whether in a packed club or at a sold-out festival. The hearty base of Town Mountain’s music is bluegrass spiced with country, old school rock ‘n’ roll and boogie-woogie. Rolling Stone.com says “Call it an evolution or a revolution, it’s clear that Town Mountain is at the forefront”. Local favorites, Wayne Lee Ray, will be opening the night with their unique mix of hard-hitting outlaw country and Americana roots music.
You will have a chance to bid on some amazing prize baskets in the silent auction taking place before and during the show. Don’t miss out!! Delicious BBQ by Jordan Springs will be available on-site. Plan on coming early and making a night of it!
UPDATE: In compliance with Commonwealth of Virginia mandate, all attendees of One More Song who have not yet received their COVID-19 Vacciation are required to wear a mask while inside The Barns. Masks will be provided at the door for those who do not have their own.
